An offering from our family to you

Allies is an offering from our family—Mathew, Colleen, and our daughter, Willow—created in partnership with our friend and herbalist Ben Zappin. It brings together a lifetime of work, friendship, and learning from plants.

Before Allies there was Foria, a brand we created and served for over 10 years. With Mathew as founder and Colleen as a formulator, our work brought cannabis, hemp, and other botanicals into intimacy and wellness, caring for needs that had too often been overlooked. Along the way, we fell in love with working with—and for—plants.

Colleen tends that relationship at home and in the community. Through her herbalism, her work supporting mothers, and life with Willow, she keeps bringing us back to what matters: the living world and the relationships that need our care.

Ben brings decades of herbal knowledge, clinical experience, and the thoughtful craft of someone who has spent his life working with plants and people. His friendship and expertise help give this offering its form.

For us, plants are a living connection to the more-than-human world. They remind us that we belong, held within relationships far older and wider than ourselves.

Our hope is that Allies becomes a companion in your life—for ordinary days, tender transitions, and whatever comes next.

And we’re just getting started. What comes next will grow in conversation with the community we serve: listening to what you need, what you most want from us, and where plants might offer support. These first formulas are a beginning. We look forward to shaping new offerings together.
